Honduras, a small country in the center of Central America, is home to beautiful landscapes and friendly, hardworking people. But a dysfunctional justice system and increased drug trafficking (fueled by North American demand) have created a perfect storm of violence. This year nearly one in every thousand Hondurans will die violently.
